The Well Outreach is a local food bank that serves Spring Hill, TN and the surrounding area. DeBerry Insurance Agency in Spring Hill has a longstanding relationship of support with their local food bank. For the past three years, DeBerry Insurance has incorporated a food drive for The Well into their annual Free Shred Day for the community. The event has helped to collect hundreds of pounds of food each year.
In 2019, the DeBerrys became personally involved in leadership of The Well with owner, Chris DeBerry, joining the organization as a board member. As a board member, Chris lent her expertise in event planning to help The Well organize The Whole Hog Festival, a reintroduction of Spring Hill’s Country Ham Festival, which the DeBerrys helped to found in 2003. The inaugural Whole Hog Festival raised more than $40,000 for The Well Outreach. DeBerry Insurance Agency participated as the Petting Zoo sponsor for The Whole Hog Festival contributing $1,500 in sponsorship dollars.
DeBerry Insurance Agency has also helped to bring awareness to the mission of The Well by spotlighting their efforts on social media and dedicating episodes of the agency’s Facebook Live to help promote The Well.
